A spotlight on those we serve through Resurrection House cooking: Many of the homeless individuals we assist are referred to as the “new poor.” These people have faced crises in their lives, leaving them on the streets, feeling helpless and struggling to regain their place in society. Resurrection House offers a range of services, including showers, restrooms, laundry facilities, counseling, medical treatment, food, clothing, and more.
The Community Service Ministry at SAKLC shops for groceries, prepares meals, and delivers food to Resurrection House on the fourth Thursday of every month.
We invite you to join the Community Service Ministry in lending a hand to serve those who are less fortunate.
