The Community Service Ministry is excited to announce an in-kind food drive to support the Nourish to Flourish initiative. Throughout the entire month of September, we invite you to participate by picking up brown bags available in the Narthex. These bags are intended for you to fill with a variety of non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and dried beans—foods that can provide vital nutrition to those in need.
Once you have filled your bags, please return them to the church no later than September 28th. The Community Service Ministry will ensure that these contributions are distributed to local organizations, including Second Chance Last Opportunity and Harvest House, which provide essential support to families and individuals facing food insecurity in our community.
It is important to note that during the summer months, charitable giving often sees a decline; however, the demand for assistance remains steady. Your contributions of food and resources are especially critical during this time. We are truly grateful for your generosity and support in helping us make a meaningful impact in the lives of those around us.
Thank you for your kindness and commitment to nourishing our community!
