Your helping hands are needed!
This year, our Kids Against Hunger Packing Event is getting even bigger. Thanks to an extraordinarily generous gift from one SAKLC member, we have the opportunity to pack an incredible 50,000 meals for people in need.
But to make it happen,
we need more than 100 volunteers—and we need you!
All ages and abilities are welcome. Bring your family, invite a friend, and come ready for a morning of fellowship, teamwork, and service.
Many Hands Make Light Work
Hosted by the SAKLC Community Service Ministry, this annual packing event brings people together around a simple goal: providing nutritious meals to people who need them most.
Working side by side, volunteers will measure, fill, weigh, seal, and pack thousands of meals in just a few hours. No special skills are needed, and there is a job for almost everyone.
Together, we will package a highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole developed by Kids Against Hunger to help provide essential nutrition to children and families facing hunger.
GIVE + SERVE = HOPE
Kids Against Hunger works to reduce hunger by mobilizing volunteers to package nutritious meals for distribution through humanitarian organizations in the United States and around the world.
This year, our goal at SAKLC is ambitious:
50,000 meals. More than 100 helping hands. One community coming together to serve.
The SAKLC Community Service Ministry, with generous support from the SAKLC Foundation and one of our members, is proud to make this special event possible.
Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 7, and join us!
Whether you can pack, organize, carry, encourage, or simply lend a helping hand, there is a place for you.
Many hands make light work—and together, 50,000 meals can make an extraordinary difference.
